Raydar and Associates provides depot level support for U.S. Navy shipboard and land based automated test equipment. This includes testing and repair of WRAs, SRAs, and SSRAs, both while installed on the aircraft carrier and at the depot facility. These services are provided at sites inside and outside of the U.S. It also includes testing and repair of associated test fixtures and cabling and installation and removal of automated test equipment benches both shipboard and at land based sites.
In addition, Raydar and Associates provides electrical engineering support for several automated test equipment applications. Raydar has participated in redesigning the NAVAIR airborne Signal Intelligence and Electronic Intelligence systems by producing Engineering Change Notices, changing and updating Original Equipment Manufacture drawings, redesigning circuits and printed circuit boards, developing prototypes, and providing onsite support. Raydar has also provided similar services to the U.S. Coast Guard International Ice Patrol Radar Systems and provided testing and repair both onsite and at depot for the U.S. Air Force Radar Jamming and Electronic Countermeasure Systems.
Raydar and Associates’ electrical engineering support services also include the development of depot-level test and repair procedures. These procedures can be manual or automated; are ISO-compliant; and can be developed for WRAs, SRAs, or SSRAs using either legacy or current test equipment. Raydar provides onsite electrical engineering support and electronics technicians for modification of current procedures, hardware or software. All of these options plus our RF, analog and digital knowledge allow us to offer a wide range of services in this area.
One of Raydar and Associates’ fastest-growing services is the development of automated test systems using LabVIEW. These test systems can use either off-the-shelf test equipment or unique equipment to test WRAs, SRAs, and SSRAs. Raydar offers redesign of current automated testers, modifications to existing LabVIEW-based automated testers, and new design of automated testers as well as onsite support and continuing support and upgrades.
Raydar and Associates’ engineers are also skilled in cable and wire harness design and manufacture and repair. We can build or rebuild a wide range of cables including RF (both metallic and nonmetallic jacketed), power, and data transmission, either onsite or at depot.
