Raydar and Associates Inc. have over 50 years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Supportability Analysis, Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR), and Logistic Management Information (LMI). Raydar and Associates have worked through the maturation process of ILS and LSA utilizing MIL-STD-1388-1, 1A, and MIL-HDBK-502 as well as the process for LSAR and LMI utilizing MIL-STD-1388-2, 2A, 2B, and MIL-PRF-49506. Raydar and Associates logistics staff have performed the life-cycle of logistics for over 60 Electronic Warfare (EW) and over 40 Radar systems including subsequent Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs) as Support Equipment (SE).
Raydar and Associates have designed, developed, and implemented logistics data to produce plans and procedures from a pre-concept phase through post deployment phase to ensure that a system is reliable, maintainable, and supportable for its intended life-cycle. This includes working with the engineering design team to document the initial functional design through all phases to a stand up full physical design while providing analysis for system maintenance and support. Along this process as the configuration matures snap shots are taken documented and analyzed for drawing reviews and parts analysis utilizing the LMI data base. Raydar and Associates uses the most powerful LMI software available to process and make recommendations for supportable design of the system using applications and stringent business rules to produce flawless data production. All LMI reports are available at any stage of the program as well as designed AD-HOC reports used to identify “bad actors” isolating those items that are not in line with the supportability concept. This type of reporting can be utilized down to an individual data element.
Raydar and Associates recommends, or uses the Operational Requirements to establish Reliability and Maintainability (RAM) characteristics for functional identification and maintenance concept, task requirements, sub-task requirements, task provisioning to ensure that only the parts needed for repair are provisioned, SE needed for repair of the end item and assemblies/sub assemblies, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), parts application and the production of all required provisioning lists.
Finally, Raydar and Associates provides the entire LMI data base for up-loading into any LMI data product for future updates including Design Change Notices (DCNs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
